Far below the surface of the world's oceans, a tough place for foam cups
Article with photographs showing foam cups shrunk to thimble size by the enormous pressures 2 km below the ocean surface.
Not really Auckland related, but the article was by Ali Perkins of Auckland University and the photos looked good so I bent a rule.
